Catholic Herald accuses government of having an “imprecise and shiftily disingenuous Counter-Extremism Strategy”

The Catholic Herald have warned that counter-extremism measures after the recent terrorist attacks may cause “very serious threats to religious freedom in the years to come.” They accuse the government of not being specific with the term extremism, and say the vagueness could lead to a situation where “any opinion that deviates from the liberal, secular consensus will be held to be extreme.”
